Programme Details

The Diploma in Human Resources Management & Development (DHRMD) is a comprehensive program developed in collaboration with the International Labor Organization (ILO) and Asia e University. This program covers the critical pillars of human resource (HR) operations, HR management, organizational culture, leadership, industrial relations, occupational safety as well as international labor conventions. This six-month online program is led by experienced professionals, including Chief HR Officers, Chief People Officers, HR specialists, Industrial Relations (IR) lawyers and practitioners, as well as representatives from the ILO. Successful candidates will receive DUAL CERTIFICATION upon completion of the course!

Assessment
ASSESSMENT
All modules, learning activities, research assignments, examinations and project papers are designed to ground input material whilst drawing relevance to participant’s organization and work functions. This ensures maximum transfer of learning to the workplace.
Assignments
Participants are required to research and develop 2 assignments to display level of understanding on specific modules.
20% of competency assessment
Examination
Participants are required to prepare & sit for a comprehensive examination to display level of understanding on the modules
40% of competency assessment
IR Project Paper
Participants are required to research, develop and dissertation the IR Project paper topics assigned.

Entry Requirements

To enroll for the Professional Diploma, candidates must meet one of the following criteria:
• Minimum 3 credits in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM), or Sijil Vokasional Malaysia (SVM), or Malaysian Certificate of Education (MCE) with at least 2 years working experience in Human Resources or Industrial Relations or other equivalent qualifications; or
• Completion of the MEF Academy Certificate in Human Resource Management or Certificate in Industrial Relations Management; and
• Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and/or English.

Certification & Exemptions

Upon successful completion of the program, participants will receive:
• Professional Diploma in Industrial relations awarded by MEF Academy in collaboration with the International Labour Organization (ILO).
• Certified Industrial Relations Practitioner awarded by SPEED, Asia e University, recognizing professional expertise in industrial practices. This dual certification offers participants a robust qualification that is widely recognized in the field of Industrial Relations and Labour Law.
