Learning Objectives

This training provides participants with a comprehensive understanding of Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Risk Control (HIRARC) as a systematic approach to managing workplace safety and health risks. Participants will learn how to identify workplace hazards, evaluate the likelihood and severity of associated risks, and implement appropriate control measures based on the hierarchy of controls. The course covers legal requirements, risk assessment methodologies, documentation, and practical techniques for conducting effective HIRARC activities across various work environments. Through case studies, group discussions, and practical exercises, participants will develop the skills to proactively identify hazards, reduce workplace incidents, and promote a strong safety culture.
