A Practical Guide to Responsible Business Conduct and Human Rights Due Diligence For SMEs, June

Learning Objectives

Malaysia launched its first National Action Plan on Business and Human Rights (NAPBHR) 2025-2026 last year, aligning with the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs). This inclusion in business operations as part of the action plan signals the importance of corporate responsibility to respect human rights through responsible business conduct and in strengthening their responsible business practices and how to implement Human Rights Due Diligence (HRDD).

Through a mix of practical sharing and hands-on exercises, the programme will guide enterprises in strengthening their responsible business practices in line with international standards without overcomplicating the process.
